Since I was 8 years old I have been involved with online communities. First to get my mind off of living with my terminal Grandmother, then to hide from my Grandfathers death and then both of my Grandmothers. And don’t you know I started hiding again when we lost our home to foreclosure and rid myself of manipulative hurtful people who said they were friends. There are some amazing artists here… And there are some amazing people, who I am thankful to have known. But tonight I was hurt by someone running me down for how I treat my animals, by putting a bird diaper on my bird of all things. It made me mad, and then after a while I realized something, the only reason I was here was for positive feedback, to see how many comments I had, how many page views, wishing just one person would use my stock. And more than anything, to have something on my mind other than what is going on right now in my life, my way of disconnecting. It just isn’t worth it, I am 18, I should be living, happy, breathing without 20 pounds of weight on my shoulders… I should be making friends who are real, living my life. I don’t want to look back on my youth and say I was too busy hiding from life. So I am going to leave DA, and I’ll come back when I want to be here, not when I need to be here.

I will fulfill my obligation to create an avie prize for contest. It will be my last upload…
